Station 185 145 Narrows Drive
Station 185 is located in the Narrows community and is the primary responding station for Hwy 280 from Hwy 43 to Highland Lakes. In addition, Station 185 houses the department's business and billing office. Station 185 responds first due to the following communities:
Units located at Station 185 include:
Engine 185 – 2004 Ferrara Engine with 1250 gallons per
minute pump.
Engine 185 is equipped to respond to both medical and fire
calls within response territory.
Engine 185 is equipped with 1200 feet of 5 inch
supply hose and 500 feet of 1 ¾ “ attack hose.
Rescue 185 – 2008 Chevrolet 5500
Excellance transport unit.
R185 is equipped
with advanced life support equipment.
R 185
is also equipped with a Mobile Data Terminal that allows information to be
shared directly with Shelby County
9-1-1.
R-185 is the primary transport unit for the Cahaba
Valley Fire and EMR district. |
