Station 185

Station 185 is located in the Narrows community and is the primary responding station for Hwy 280 from Hwy 43 to Highland Lakes. In addition, Station 185 houses the department's business and billing office.  Station 185 responds first due to the following communities:

Units located at Station 185 include:

Engine-185 - 2004 Ferrara Engine with a 1250 gallons per minute pump.  This engine responds to both fire and medical calls within the areas listed above.  Engine-185 is equipped with 1200 feet of 5 inch diameter supply hose, 500 feet of 1 3/4 inch diameter attack hose and all advanced life support equipment for medical calls.

Rescue-185 - 2002 Excellance transport ambulance equipped with advanced life support equipment for medical calls and self contained breathing apparatus for fire emergencies.  R-185 is also equipped with an onboard computer that receives information directly from Shelby County 911 and displays it on the screen to assist with locating calls.  Rescue-185 is the primary transport for stations 181, 182, 183, and 185, responding to over 1/2 of the fire district.
