- Mr. Sarver called the meeting to order at 5:56 P.M.
- The minutes from January 11, 2023, Board Meeting were presented. Mr. Wilkinson made a motion to approve the minutes and Mr. Reyes-Guerra seconded. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
- The agenda was presented. Mr. Reyes-Guerra made a motion to approve the agenda and Mr. Wilkinson seconded. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
- Mr. Reyes-Guerra made motion to move financials to the top of the agenda to allow the auditor to present the 2021 audit to the Board of Trustees and Mr. Wilkinson seconded. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
- Cindy Bryan, & Lane Hopper gave report for DentMoses on the findings of the 2021 audit and presented it to the Board of Trustees. The 2021 audit is available at the business office 145 Narrows Drive Birmingham, AL 35242 by request. An abridged version is available on the CVFD website.

Report from the Fire Chief
• Operations Report
-Chief report- Slower month, but multiple overlapping calls continue.
-Response times have increased; ambulance response times have increased by 50%. -Yancey and Garrett completed Alabama Smoke Diver Course.
-Request from Center Point Fire for the use of our Wilderness Search and Rescue Team. Team performed well and benefitted the search operation.
• Financial Report
o Moved to top of agenda.
o Fire Dues collection rate is just over 90%. This is an improvement over this time last year. $98,000 brought in on Voluntary Capital Contribution towards the purchase of a new ambulance. $119,641.85 balance for over paid accounts. These accounts will be reviewed, and refunds will be refunded.
o Mr. Clemmons made a motion to approve a refund to overpaid accounts, Mr. Reyes-Guerra seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.

-Mr. Wilkinson made motion to approve the Petition for election with changes, Mr. Coblentz seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Petition was signed.
New Business
• Exemption Request – 104 Narrows Creek Drive, Ms. Barbara Saiia-Herman. Has been making a good faith effort to pay but is requesting an exemption.
Motion to adjourn- Mr. Reyes-Guerra made motion to dismiss and Mr. Wilkinson seconded 7:57 P.M.
